Richard Gluckman's designs have been acclaimed for the sensitivity to both the integrity of existing architecture and the particular needs of modern and contemporary art. A major component of his practice has been the design of art-related facilities, including the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh and Site Santa Fe in New Mexico.

  • Master of Architecture, Syracuse University
  • Honor Award, 1988, AIA, New York Chapter, for Dia Center for the Arts;
  • Architectural Record Interiors Award, 1994, for the Andy Warhol Museum
  • Visiting Critic, Harvard University's Graduate School of Design

"As architects for the Dia Center for the Arts for nineteen years, the firm has successfully converted several industrial buildings into exhibition, storage, and administrative spaces. Much of our work has thus grown out of an exchange with artists, curators, and directors."
