Richard Meier
Sleeper
2000

A sleek alarm clock made of zinc alloy. The color palette of the alarm case, dial and graceful hands are in varying tones of zinc. The brushed matte finish echoes Meier’s signature circles used in much of his architecture. The alarm clock communicates presence, form, space and light. The round alarm clock is wondrously held in place by two round balls that serve as feet at the “5” and “7”. The alarm incorporates a quartz mechanism with four ascending rings.
